Back to Malay version, click here Today,  let me introduce one of the kind in Ribbon Embroidery, which uses 1.5 inci ribbon size and is called the Vintage Flower.  Like most of other designs, the core of its making is the so-called folded rose. You can see these in the centre of both - the readily blooming and the about-to.  Next, pieces of ribbons are cut and sewn together to make the different layers of the flower, following the 7-5-3 predefined format. Finally, all these will be sewn to the fabric and gives this lovely vintage looking. Vintage - My first vintage embroidery during classwork - a bit stiff Combination of the Reds and white in progress - so fresh like after the shower.
